Sponsored by the Ruckelshaus Institute and the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources and held at the University of Wyoming Conference Center, Roads to Removal Wyoming focused on identifying how carbon dioxide removal technologies and solutions can be applied in the state, with specific discussions on the costs, impacts, community and workforce opportunities.
Hosted by UPenn, this symposium brought together Roads to Removal report authors, community leaders, scientists and local experts in the Northeast region to examine the opportunities and challenges of developing local carbon dioxide removal programs in response to climate change and its impacts.
R2R lead author Jennifer Pett-Ridge provided a keynote address and report authors Drew Wong, Allegra Mayer, Kim Mayfield, Joe Sagues and Thomas Harris addressed specific opportunities for North Carolina and the greater Southeast region in a wide-ranging panel discussion.
